Colorware adds DS Lite and PSP

For all you fans of ColorWare’s work, if you have a DS lite you can use their services now and if you have a PSP you will be able to use their services April 14th. Yes that’s right, ColorWare will finally add the PSP to their list of products that they will customize.

Hacking OSX, Vista, and Linux
In a competition called “PWN 2 OWN” hackers were pitted against each other in an attempt to hack OSX, Vista or Linux. The objective of the competition was to hack the OS’s with only the native software on the computer in order to gain control of the system. The grand prize winner would receive $20,000 and the laptop that they hacked. For every day that they competition went on without a winner, the prized money was cut in half as the restrictions on the rules got easier. So which OS was hacked first?

It’s a Woot-Off!

That’s right boys and girls it is a Woot-Off today! For those of you who don’t know about Woot! you need to check it out. The basic idea of the site is that they sell 1 product everyday at [usually] a very discounted price . There is an unknown amount of the product, so you need to make a decision relatively quickly on whether you want it or not because if you wait until later in the day, the product might have sold out. If the product sells out, you have to wait until the next product comes up again. Regardless of if the product sells out or not, the new product is put up at 12am Central Time.

Motorola Splits Up

Motorola has announced that the company will split into two separate companies. The two companies will be called Mobile Devices and Broadband & Mobility Solutions. The Mobile Devices business will focus only on the design and manufacturing of cell phones while Broadband & Mobility Solutions will focus on public and private networks. Motorola’s CEO has said that “Creating two industry-leading companies will provide improved flexibility, more tailored capital structures, and increased management focus - as well as more targeted investment opportunities for our shareholders.”
