This is the future of books. Or at least according to web magazine Yanko Design. While the “laptop” doesn’t actually work, the “screen” does actually light up. The piece was designed as commentary on how we as a society are moving away from older technologies and into newer ones. The designer says that the book illustrates the issues that arise from “technology and the Internet, and the effect it is having on the way we source information”. When the book is closed it looks like any other book on the shelf. Hit the jump for more pictures…
