Google has released a new feature for it’s email client, Gmail. The new feature is called Custom Time and allows the sender of an email to edit the time stamp on the email so it will show up in the recipients inbox with the custom time stamp. Forget to email your Grandma on her birthday? Just send the email with a custom time of whenever her birthday was! When she receives the email it will tell her that she’s had it in her inbox since her birthday! Didn’t finish your term paper on time? Send it to your professor with the custom time sent to before the deadline. Brilliant!

Those crazy guys over at Woot! are at it again with their version of an April Fools’ prank. If you were up at 12am central time, you noticed that the Woot-Off progress bar papped up again as if another Woot-Off was taking place. The first item was a portable battery unit for charging portable items on the go. Unfortunately for all of us, when that ran out the next item up was the same portable power unit. Rinse and repeat while throwing in a random Bag of Crap and you have today’s April Fools’ Woot-Off!
