Chrysler has announced that beginning this year, they will begin to offer the option of in car internet. Yes, internet in your automobile. They claim the service will use signals from cell phone towers to provide access to the World Wide Web while driving. It is not known whether Chrysler will partner with a specific cell carrier, but consumers will need a data plan subscription with a cell company in order to use the towers. Perhaps a deal with the new owners of a large chunk of the 700mhz band will be struck? Awesome.
